StoryTold motivates parents to write exciting stories for their children in a familiar web-interface. Based on your profile, we will send you personalized prompts, tips, and ideas on how to improve your storytelling skills.
On top of this, we will send individually selected curated content to inspire you towards a more meaningful communication with your child.

We understand perfectly how precious your stories are, and under no circumstances will we ever let them get lost or be forgotten. All your stories will be kept safe on servers with double backup.

Our application is designed to be used by children starting at the age of 6, or at the age when the child gets his first smartphone or tablet. However, many parents start writing and recording their stories for the future, when their children are still little or just babies, and some even before they're born.

Open the web version of the application and click «Settings» in the upper right corner. Submit your child's email address. We will send him/her a unique MagicLink generated just for your child. Click this link to download the app and sign in. We guarantee full safety and privacy without any complicated passwords. StoryTold works on Android smartphones and tablets, as well as iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

We protect our content with the help of encryption protocols and https. Moreover, your personal stories are connected with your personal data by a secret token. Even our own developers don't know what stories are connected to which email address.
However, for your peace of mind, we recommend not to mention sensitive information (like financial data or addresses) in your stories. We're sure you have so much more to tell your children!

At the end of every week, we will send you an email reporting on your progress. This way, you'll see what stories your child already read, and which ones he or she found the most exciting.

Even if you stop using the StoryTold app, we will automatically send your Future Stories to your child's email address on the date you set while writing it. However, we will be sad to see you leave.

Don't worry about this. Children can't edit their age in the app. This means, if you set a story to be sent to your child at the age of 12, he will get this on his 12th birthday.
